Various views taken during the first of three Extravehicular Activities (EVAs) of the STS-88 mission including: STS-88 mission specialist James Newman on the end of the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) arm holding the 10 ft. long ''boat-hook'' which he will use to pull out the stuck TORU antenna on the FGB/Zarya module (+ZA module side) (028-9). View of the undeployed TORU antenna on the FGB/Zarya (+ZA module side) (030-2). Newman uses the boat-hook to try to deploy the TORU antenna (+ZA module side)(033-6).
